The event was the occasion to address the current and future cooperation between the University of Salerno and our Partner academic institutions from Albania, providing interesting proposals to enrich the didactic programme of both universities, as well as to plan further activities, such as the final conference of the third edition of EUWEB Module, scheduled for the next June at ‘EPOKA’ University of Tirana.

As we continue to prepare EUWEB’s second edition, we introduce our third informal meeting scheduled for 16 November 2020, at 10:00 A.M. − Microsoft Teams.

The event, introduced by Teresa Russo, EUWEB Module Leader, as well as Anna Oriolo and Gaspare Dalia, Key Staff Members, will be an occasion to address our future topics on challenges such as cross border security, migration and asylum management.

We are very proud to announce our first activities of the second edition.
During three informal meetings on 4, 9 and 16 November 2020, Prof. Teresa Russo, EUWEB Leader, Profs. Anna Oriolo and Gaspare Dalia, EUWEB Key Staff Members, will discuss with academics, legal experts and stakeholders the new trends and perspectives of the topics of the EUWEB Module for preparing an amazing and stimulating second edition.
Our first meeting, on 4 November at 3:00 P.M., will concern some insights on judicial and police cooperation from Prof. Luigi Foffani, Professor of Criminal Law, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy); Prof. Ismail Tafani, Head of the Department of Legal Sciences, Professor of Constitutional Law, Albanian University of Tirana (Albania); Olga Koshevaliska (Gurkova) Professor of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, Dean of the Law Faculty, Criminal Department, University “Goce Delčev” of Štip (Republic of North Macedonia); Carmine Pirozzoli, Public Prosecutor and Long Term Expert on Organized Crime, PAMECA – EU Police Assistance in Albania. Gianluigi Pratola, Deputy Prosecutor General at the Italian Supreme Court and Mid-term Expert, as Coordinator of the Component concerning the High School for the Judiciary and the Prosecution Office, EURALIUS V Team; Gezim Spahiu, Public Prosecutor, Court District of Shkodra (Albania).
